Shabake 3 HD television channel created by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and started broadcasting on December 4, 1993.[1] The channel is often referred to as the youth channel, due to its large amounts of programming dedicated to sports. Mohammad Jaafar Safi was the first director of this network, who was in charge of managing Shabake 3 HD from the time of its establishment until 2002. After that, Ali Asghar Pourmohammadi was transferred to this network from Tehran Network (now Panj Network) and remained in this position until October 2013. In October 2014, the then Deputy Director of Sima replaced Pourmohammadi with Majid Zain El Abdin. In 1393, Gholamreza Mirhosseini was elected as the director of Channel Three. In June 2015, Pourmohammadi took over the management of for the second time after he was dismissed from the position of the vice president of Sima. Ali Foroughi is responsible for the management of this network, according to the decree of the deputy director of Shabake 3 HD, since May 2017.

After 22 years, Shabake 3 HD changed its logo and changed the overall graphics of the network in December 2014 and at the same time as the 22nd year of its establishment. The color of the logo changed from orange to white. This change happened during the live broadcast of the football match between Barcelona and Valencia. new logo and its similarity to the logo of Ericsson and several other companies were accompanied by reactions. The logo of the network has been modified by Iman Yari. Also, since Nowruz Eid of 2018, the motion graphics of the logo and subtitles have been changed. Along with these changes, the image output of this network on digital receivers changed from 4:3 (576i, SDTV) to 16:9 (576i, SDTV). On August 17, 1395, the HD broadcast of Shabake 3 HD started in Tehran and provincial centers.
